Ivy is my homebred dream horse. I had plans to ride hunters with her but our family has gotten into mustangs so Ivy doesn’t fit in with the rest of our herd and the type of shows that we go to. Ivy is bred for the AQHA shows and is super slow legged. She would be an amazing Ranch Riding prospect. I have brought Ivy along slowly and carefully, and have exposed her to many different environments. She has done trails, trail courses, went to fair as a 3 year old in the green classes, and has even done some jumping. She has a solid foundation at all 3 gaits. She has a slow jog, and a pretty solid walk to canter transition, and a bigger step at the canter. She side passes, opens gates, loads and hauls like a dream. My 13 year old daughter has ridden Ivy quite a bit. She ties solid and cross ties, she has been blanketed, stalled and turned out with other horses. Ivy was started under saddle as a 3 year old and only jumped as a 4 year old, up to 2’3”. I haven’t hauled Ivy to new places much so she will need miles on the road. Sound, healthy and looking for a program. I’m happy to answer any questions and provide additional photos and video as needed by out of town buyers. I also have a FB page that I post updates on. rn
