✨For Sale: Mocha – The Huffalump with Hops✨ Meet Mocha, a 6-year-old Canadian × Connemara cross, registered with the Half Connemara Society. She stands a solid very easy keeping 16 hands and sports a shiny golden coat that looks freshly polished every morning (she swears it’s natural). Mocha was lightly started this past winter and currently goes walk–trot–canter and will pop over a small course. She’s still green, but she’s all heart and tries her very best every ride — a true teacher’s pet type. In the right program — whether a pro or an ambitious amateur with a good coach — she’s going to blossom into something really special. Although she looks a bit like a Huffalump, don’t be fooled — she’s inherited the springs of her Connemara sire, Get Smart, who competes Preliminary level eventing. Her dam was no slouch either, a lovely dressage mare with a serious work ethic. Mocha’s résumé includes countless trail miles, many camping trips in Algonquin Park, and a recent debut in fox hunting — where she proved she can keep up with hounds and humor.
