Meet Act of Valor HOF “Valor”

Valor is truly the biggest puppy dog you’ve ever seen. He would love to live in your house, sleep in your bed, and go with you everywhere. His theme song is "I'm Just Ken" and he's just happy to be here and do his job - which of course is "beach".
Sired by the late Accolade of Genesis, silver-rated stallion (80 pts) scoring 9s on type, head and neck and 8 on overall moment and the last foal out of prolific dam Febe Ze NTF, who produced multiple silver-rated foals and gold-rated mare (83 pts), Faith By Fire DAF (3/4 sibling to Valor).
Valor debuted back into the USDF ring at Second Level this summer, scoring in the mid-sixties in a Dressage Ring that was more of swamp than a beach (Flash flood warning and everything!). He absolutely lights up in the ring and had more fun than any other horse at the show, we are sure of it! He was 2023 All Breeds Haflinger of the Year for Open and Adult Amateur at Training Level. Valor is just starting to officially school flying changes and his training will continue until he is sold.
The last two years Valor has been dipping his toes into Eventing while his owner has been busy with work. He is always in top placing after Dressage, usually scoring in the high 20s or low 30s . While he loves to jump, he needs confidence at the start of XC. Height is never an issue and with the right partner we feel he will continue to work through this and easily go back to Eventing. He placed in his last two events in the Open Beginner Novice – 4th at Sundance and 5th at Windermere Run.
He has easy, comfortable gaits that anyone can appreciate. He loves to trail ride and could be a fun fox hunt mount. As a 2- and 3-year-old he was shown in driving and was said to be easy enough for a beginner, but would need a tune up since he hasn’t been hitched since then. Valor does require minor yearly maintenance and currently is shod on all four feet.
