Zen (JC: Zen Village) is affectionately referred to as the malicious compliance horse in our lesson program. At 18, he firmly believes that he has seen enough to have an opinion (I mean, really, don't they all have that?). He can do all the things from taking you over small courses to introducing you to dressage, but while he is Mr Reliable and very safe, he will do EXACTLY what you ask him to do. For this reason, Zen is appropriate for an advanced beginner or intermediate+ rider looking to refine their communication. His most recent shareboarder just bought her own horse, so his dance card is fairly free, and he does best when he has consistent, strength-building work.
