15hh and still growing, big boned and strong with great feet, has never taken a lame step. Just finished 120 days of training with hall of fame cutting trainer Shad Platt, she had a late start by no fault of her own, had all her basics as a 2 y/o and saddle started/ground driven as a 3 y/o, all of her riding experience has been in her 4 year old year. This horse is an absolute athlete, soft mouthed and responsive. No buck, bite, kick or rear and no bad vices, but she is stingy and needs a job. This is the kind of horse you can ride all day every day and she'll never quit, strong and agile, she has the stamina to do any type of work whether it be in the arena or out on a big ranch. She needs an experienced trainer or someone who works full time on a cattle operation where she can get out and ride in big country daily. She needs wet saddle blankets and a steady hand, not a mean bone in her body but she is bred to work or perform in a high caliber position with someone who can guide her through new life experiences. She's been hauled plenty, been to a sorting and has been on cattle, she is cowy, not been roped on yet as she needs to continue to build confidence in her rider first but with how stout and big boned she is would absolutely make a nice head or heel horse, wants to have a big stop and travels nice in all gates. Good and polite for the farrier has had 3 sets of shoes, loads/hauls and bathes well, easy to catch, good ground manners will stand tied all day with a foot cocked. This filly needs the type of home where she will continue to be educated by someone experienced who can guide her in her next steps of training. If I had the time to give her a job I would keep her as I think she'll make an incredible partner in anything you want to do, she's very smart and learns fast, but she needs consistency and I don't have the time to give her what she needs. This is the border collie of the horse world, she's all business, it's in her blood to be excellent in the right hands. Incredible bloodlines, use her now and breed her later.
