All of these mustangs are from the Warm Springs Reservation. They are all gentle and live out on a 100 acre pasture in a large herd. I catch them once a day to feed a scoop of haystack special blend and some California Trace minerals. Currently, I dont have the energy to train them as I have been working with horses I have more time into and would like to finish. Nothing wrong with these guys, but I have more horses than one person needs. Please do not ask for more pics/video. They are hairy and dirty and are having a blast rolling in the mud. These horses live outdoors and will hate stall only homes.
The 1st is Misty. 2022 mare standing 14.1 maybe 14.2. Registered with NAMAR, DNA typed as paso fino, hanoverian, and Caspian. Sweetest temperament, loves to be groomed. Sells as halter broke only but also blankets, bathes, at one time picked up her feet, has lunged a handful of times and is started on target training. $3000
The 2nd is Beau. 2021 grey gelding standing 15.1. Registered with NAMAR, DNA typed as Mangalargo Marchador, Selle Francis and Missouri Foxtrotter. He is gaited, but does trot. Will be a smooth ride for anyone who understands gaits. He has been trained up to ground driving using R+ methods. $2500
The 3rd is Freya. 2020 mare standing about 15 hands. I have not sticked her, but she's a good sized girl. Halter broke only, and bred. I am guessing the baby will come around March or April. I sent in for both her papers and her DNA. Very sweet demeanor, lives quietly in pasture and will come up to you in the field. $2000
#4 is Magic. She is Freya's filly, born in the wild and approximately 8 to 9 months old. No way to know for sure. Looks like she will be tall! DNA typed as Mountain Pleasure Horse, Rocky Mountain Horse, and Missouri Foxtrotter. I haven't seen her gait but at her age, whi knows. Freya has been weaning her, can sell separately or together. $1500
#5 is Charm. Born here on the property Feb 2025. She is Misty's foal. Has had plenty of handling but mostly just runs around the pasture being a baby. Recently has been weaning herself and showing up at the gate without mom. Can sell seperate or with Misty her mom. $1500
#6 is Ben. 2021 buckskin roan. He's a handsome handful. I offer him for sale but after one previous owner and two professional trainers, I'm still the only one thay can get a halter on him. If you are an R+ trainer who would like to give him a try, I'm happy to show him to you. But I am also a realist and know that its possible that running around the pasture may be his only talent. He is free to a home that can prove themselves to be a better place than where he is now.
