Unfortunately parting with both of my cute lawn ornaments (one mini, one 14.3hh). Here's the star of today’s episode: Tatchi, an 11 year old gelding. Used as a leadline pony in his past home but has been strictly specializing in “pasture puff aesthetics” at my farm. Would need some legging up to get back into the working mindset (and figure).
This tiny dude is super sweet. Easy to catch (yes, actually), picks up all 4 feet like the civilized creature he is, ties, brushes, loads, trailers - zero typical mini 😈 energy and no major quirks. He lives harmoniously with dogs, cats, goats, and chickens. He even wears a grazing muzzle (currently sporting a thick winter coat with quite a few unneeded pounds underneath, so yes, it's necessary) with no complaints! Training-wise? Uh… let’s call him a “blank-ish canvas.” He will happily follow you on a lead, at a walk or trot, and will go over poles. Hardly ever spooks and is good at new places. But... he doesn't really lunge, his backing is sticky, and liberty is more of a philosophical concept to him. Regardless, he is willing to follow you to the ends of the earth if you've got a treat in your hand, so I'd say there's plenty of hope for his future. Perfect as a pasture puff/companion to love and admire… or put in a little work and make him what you want. Nearby Ocala, FL, and transport is not available. Please consult your mother, daughter, sister, uncle, cousin twice removed, pen pal... BEFORE messaging me.
