golden oldie, kid safe horse. This guy is pretty old and he is who he is, BUT he’s safe! He’s toted toddlers around solo. He’s good on the trails, in the arena, not spooky, not watchy. He is gaited. But he is old and doesn’t want to canter. He’s a great walk around the arena property for little kids horse, he will trot if a child is persistent enough 😅 He has nice feet, is at a good weight. He could use some dental work and I’m sure he’d benefit from a joint supplement just because of his age, however he does run around the field from time to time still so he can still move. Sound barefoot. He’s a retired fox hunting horse. He’s only available because when we were horse shopping we were hoping for a horse with more giddy up as my daughter is 10 and is ready to go faster, we bought him site unseen because we wanted something safe for her, and he is that but she’s bored and we already have 3 other horses, 1 being my old retired boy that I’ve had for 20 years so he stays, but unfortunately we can’t afford to keep 2 horses that we aren’t doing anything with.
