Our golden APHA Palomino Stallion, nickname GUS, is the last Son and offspring of APHA World Halter Champion VERSA STAR, bred, born and raised here on our farm. VERSA STAR FOALED IN 1980 WAS A WORLD CHAMPION AND APHA CHAMPION AND THE SIRE OF 42 EARNERS OF OVER 3500 HALTER AND PERFORMANCE POINTS, 73 ROM'S, 22 SUPERIORS, 4 WORLD AND RESERVE WORLD CHAMPIONS, 315 GRANDS AND RESERVES AT HALTER, HE WAS ON THE 1992, 1993, 1995 AND 1996 APHA LEADING SIRE'S LIST. HE WAS ALSO THE SIRE OF VERSATILITY CHAMPIONS AND "VERSE" ALWAYS PASSED ON HIS SUPERIOR INTELLIGENCE AND DISPOSITION.
VERSA'S son, APHA IN HONOR OF VERSA STAR, "GUS" has an exceptionally sweet and quiet disposition and is very easy to handle in all situations. He has been ridden but will require an experience rider. GUS is looking for mares to breed in 2026 and beyond. He has been registered with the APHA as a breeding stallion. GUS is in excellent health, is up to date on vaccines and has a new coggins.
