FOR SALE This is a post I never thought I would have to make, but I am reluctantly selling my mare, Venus. Venus is an 8-year-old Thoroughbred mare, standing at approximately 16-16.1 hands tall. Having been with me for nearly three years, I am faced with the difficult decision to sell her due to my upcoming college commitment, which will limit my ability to afford her and provide the necessary training. As such, she will be sold as a project horse, suitable for an advanced to intermediate rider. Venus does present a few challenges, as she is not proficient in trailering and can be difficult for the farrier; although we have been working on these issues, consistency has been a challenge. I am able to pick up her feet with ease on most days, but she still requires further work, as she is a young horse with a spirited personality. She excels in jumping and pole work, enjoying activities that stimulate her mind. Venus is a quick learner, but necessitates a confident and experienced rider to guide her.
