Jack is a 11 year old, 16.1h Paint Draft Cross gelding. He is THICK and heavy made, is barefoot, but would wear a size 2 shoe, if shod. We bought him 4-5 years ago from a day hand to use on our own ranch and to be totally honest, we are thinning the herd as we aren’t riding as much as we used to - so it’s nothing personal to him. He has a working walk, great to check fences on, lots of riding thru thick brush, city parks and would be great on the trails. With a group, he’s fine not being the lead and will plod along following, out alone he’s going to walk faster. Has sorted yearlings, helped doctor, has done some pasture roping - but has never been roped off of out of a box that we know of. He’s super willing and has a work ethic, so would excel in any direction. No buck, kick, bite or bad habits. Easy to catch, used to living out with a herd and with donkeys, respects a hot fence, loads, ties, all that good stuff.
