But, true to her name, she has risen from the ashes and blossomed into the sweetest young lady. Phoenix has had extensive groundwork training and has excellent manners. She is barefoot and thrives on a forage-forward diet with some supplemental grain. She stands quietly for the vet and farrier, is very easy to catch and blanket. She lands lower in the pecking order within the herd, and has been turned out with geldings and mares. She also is very comfortable around all types of other farm animals and farming equipment.
