Arrow is a smart girl who learns quick and seems to hold on to what she is taught. I’m selling her because I am pregnant with my second child, and also in graduate school. She is not getting the time she deserves and needs. She’s a BLM mustang from High Rock HMA. She does walk, trot, canter, but she is still uncomfortable with the canter and will need more training there. Overall, she is calm, smart, and good on the trails. She knows how to yield forequarters and hindquarters on the ground and in the saddle. She knows how to side pass on the ground, and I was working on it in the saddle before I found out I am pregnant. She will do great with liberty training and is already good at following and sticking with you over bridges and across small jumps. She knows how to lunge and stands well tied. Her main issues now are that she is still adapting to domestic life and she can get nervous easily, but she does not escalate much past getting ancy/fidgety and bobbing her head. She has bucked twice under saddle, both times I know why. It is not her go to, but it is something to be aware of and this is one of the reasons I want to sell her to someone with experience who can turn her into the amazing horse that I know she is. I’ve trail rode her with friends, and on her own. She has a quick turn and can trot for days. I also started working her on the pole bending pattern before we moved boarding barns in June of this year. I am willing to work on the price to the right home, and she will be sold with a “first dibs” buy back contract for her safety. Arrow does take a second to make sure she can trust you, but once she trusts you, she is your friend. She needs a firm person with a gentle touch, and preferably someone with mustang experience. ***I will be getting her title from the BLM by the end of December. She will not be sold before I have the title in hand and everything is legal. You are more than welcome to come out to meet her before hand.
