Very hard decision offering my exceptional Clydesdale mare to the right forever home only. She is about 17 hands, a very user-friendly height, with an incredible personality, and truly a pleasure to have around. She is the kind of horse that makes you feel safe the moment you sit on her. She has truly been there and done that, including driving, parades, trails, kids horsemanship, therapeutic riding, and lots of night riding. We also ride her all around town next to traffic — to the local crab spot, the local burger place — and nothing bothers her. She is extremely patient and will stand calmly for as long as needed. She is bombproof, incredibly kind, and has an amazing brain. Easy to catch, loads well, does not need stocks, stands nicely for the farrier, and is honest, steady, and uncomplicated. She's not marrish at all. She is the same solid, dependable horse every time, no matter how long she sits. She has very strong feet and does not need shoes. She is gentle, affectionate, wonderful with kids, and truly enjoys people. The only reason for selling is my current setup. Due to changes with my neighboring property, I am losing a significant amount of land and will soon be limited to a much smaller area. During the summer, especially when manure is spread, it can become quite dusty, and combined with our triple-digit North Texas heat, it is no longer the ideal environment for her. Ideally, I would love to find her a home in a state that is a bit cooler than North Texas, where she can be more comfortable long-term. That said, she could still do well in a warmer climate with the right setup, such as a clean, well-ventilated or insulated barn, ample shade, and thoughtful management. A five star home is a must. I have tons of videos and pictures if you would like to see more just let me know
