Stella is a compact powerhouse of a mare currently schooling first/second level Dressage movements and L1/L2 Working Equitation. Stella was lightly started as a young horse and then spent several years in the pasture before being brought back into work at 12 years old by her adult-amateur owner. She’s had a low-mileage life and has been thoughtfully developed in a professional program for the past year.

Under saddle, Stella is sensible, responsive, and light in the bridle. She works well from the seat, is not spooky, and has shown confidence with all Working Equitation obstacles. She is straightforward through a speed course and comes back easily afterward.

Although 15.1hh, Stella is a substantial mare who takes up the leg well and offers good power in a compact frame. She is suitable for an intermediate rider with trainer support, and she has also gone well for capable teenagers, making her a potential step-up horse for a confident young rider.
