Guinness is a sweet, personable gelding who is a lovely mover! He was my teen daughter's competition horse in local hunter shows, but they no longer work well together so he needs to find a new home. What do we love about Guinness?: - he is so handsome! - barefoot and sound, does not need shoes! - lovely flat work at walk, trot and canter, does great in hunter hacks! - sweet and even-tempered on the ground, excellent manners - ties, trailers, and gets his trims without drama - recently finished 2 months of professional training to improve his aids and flexibility - usually middle of the pack in a herd, not excessively dominant Sadly, while riding on a very windy day, the entire jump standards blew over and scared him, and we have had difficuly convincing him that jumping is okay ever since. I believe that he could learn to get over his fear with a patient and confident rider willing to take their time getting him back over fences. We have done all of the due-dilligence to ensure his refusal has nothing to do with pain or illness (clean spine xrays available).
