Blondie is a beautiful, intuitive, and sensible 7-year-old large pony mare with a kind nature and a confident, self-assured personality. Sorrel with a flaxen mane, eye-catching chrome, big soft eye and sturdy build, she’s 100% cuteness.
Blondie will follow you anywhere and is the same horse every time you bring her out—even after time off. She has excellent ground manners and is easy to handle in all situations.
She ties, loads, bathes, and stands quietly for the farrier. She is independent, easy to keep, and can be housed anywhere without fuss. She recently completed her pre-sale exam and X-rays without sedation, had her teeth floated, and is up to date on vaccines. Her calm, confident demeanor at the clinic earned her quite a fan club.
Blondie has been under saddle for approximately 6 months and has been steadily building confidence and strength. She’s super easy to saddle and ride and you can take her anywhere. Currently she’s being introduced to trails and cattle. She’s surefooted and sensible as all get out. She’s NOT super forward so she’s best suited for trails and gentle riding.
With continued thoughtful development, Blondie has the potential to go in many directions: trail, ranch, versatility, cow work, English or Western equitation, and she’s really cute over jumps. Her size and temperament make her well suited for a youth rider or smaller adult.
