Pretty black project mare available. Lyric has spent most of her life as part of a family pleasure riding home for trail work. In October 2025, she came into the barn for some formal training and to make her a more well rounded citizen. Since she has been in the barn, Lyric has been working on ground work and under saddle principles. Everything from lunging, disengaging, hobbling, ground driving, w/t/c under saddle, the beginnings of a spin/pivot, backing... all the things. She is currently working in a snaffle and hackamore. Lyric is looking to further her education as a riding horse and is looking for someone that can offer her long term possibilities to grow her understanding under saddle. She would love to go out and do ranch work, versatility, working equitation, dressage, competitive trail, endurance riding, or possibly gymkana. If she continues life as a trail horse, she wants to know things like how a rider uses their leg on the trail and how to bring the arena skills to outdoor riding. She would be best suited for someone familiar with bringing along younger horses and that can actively engage her. We have enjoyed having her in the barn and bringing her along, she's a nice young horse. She would just be happiest with a human that understands a green bean mare. She's been in a formal program and has the right start for someone to pick up and fly with her. Lyric is 14.3hh. At home she lives in a pasture environment, right now she's in a stall with a run. She gets along with her neighbors, but does seem to have a more confident personality socially. Typically she is barefoot, but we did just put her first front shoes on with her more regular work load and wet ground. She just received a dental at the end of November. She's healthy and sound and ready to go!
