“Tracy” is a coming 12 year old Shire mare standing approximately 16.3. She has spent most of her working life driving as part of a team, and she recently returned from 45 days of under saddle training. She is going solidly walk/trot under saddle and is learning to canter. She is good to handle in all respects and is a personable, friendly mare. Tracy is brave, sensible, and will go wherever you point her. She is forward-thinking in a workmanlike way but is an easy ride in the walk and trot (she can be a bit strong in the canter right now as it’s a new concept for her), and she has shown zero spook or any sort of naughty behavior. She could make an excellent trail horse or hunter pace mount, and we could even see her foxhunting in a slower field. Or, she could go back to driving or be bred to a lighter stallion for some lovely crossbred foals!
