Sir is the gentleman of gentlemen! This Royal Crown-eligible and paid gelding is royal in character and royal in his abilities, both in and out of the arena. What we appreciate most about Sir is his ability to accurately assess his riders’ needs and meet those needs with kindness and patience. He is a standout gelding, full made, with a good wither, and built to "Hold up." We appreciate Sir as he can take time off and honestly saddle up and ride off. He is a remarkable head horse, one who has proven to fit a multitude of ropers from #3 to rodeo level. Also, a heel and breakaway horse! A Money Winning Rope Horse, he is solid as a rock in the box, breaks flat (And scoots to cattle), with a sweet move across the pen and a snappy face. Sir's other barn name could be ohh soo smooth! Such a comfortable and easy-to-maneuver ride, time flies by when you’re having fun, and you’ll have so much fun riding Sir, even with time off, he will ride the same way you left him. He has an easy neck rein and a rocking chair lope, and gaits that allow you to sit effortlessly all day. You can ride him right off the ranch or trailer him to your favorite place, and he will take you safely down the trail. Exposed to everything on mountain and desert trails and around the ranch (dogs, wildlife, down timber, rivers, bridges, cactus, all types of loud equipment, tarps, and construction). Savvy in rough terrain, he is always smart with his foot placement & keeping his rider safe is his priority. A real cow horse has a lot of eye appeal in front of one, too. Used in every aspect of ranch work, including branding, gathering, sorting, and roping. He gets along with other horses and has impeccable ground manners. We could go on and on about how much of a gentleman Sir is! He will curb-side mount, and most importantly, he fits the mold of a person's first or last horse. We couldn’t be prouder to offer this gelding with a heart of gold to you March 14 2026 at Rancho Rio! Come meet Sir in person at our ranch just outside Wickenburg. www.TurnerPerformanceHorses.com
