Stands tied all day in the arena or at the trailer no matter what is going on
Cross ties like a pro
Trailers well
Stand perfect for farrier (is currently barefoot and has not needed shoes)
Clips, bathes, and stands for veterinary care , vaccines and worming.
Quiet & sweet personality but not dull or a deadhead.
Sound with good bone and 3 beautiful easy to ride gaits.
Tanka was started a bit later than most but has excelled in training and is a willing horse.
Can ride well and is supple in a snaffle / hackamore and a halter.
He rides out on the trails alone, or in a group. He doesn’t mind being in the front, middle or back on the trail. Will cross bridges , obstacles and water.
He has worked cattle a bit. Been ranch roped off of and is familiar with working our cow trac system here at the barn.
Is comfortable around donkeys, minis, sheep and goats.
Can be turned out alone, in a pasture or with a herd. He is the middle of the pack and gets along with just about everyone.
Respects electric fencing, panel fencing and wooden fencing.
Owner is selling due to new child and family goals and time.
Tanka would do best in a home where his training will continue and he will be used for a multitude of different things. He is a very agreeable and teachable horse.
He would excel as a trail horse / VRH type.
