NFHR Registered name: Frontier Fjords Njord's Blezan Red dun, grey recessive Sire: Njord Halsnaes Dam: Featherstone's Skyview Lizzy Located just outside Portland, Oregon. Blezan ('blessing') is a stunning yearling colt by the one and only Njord Halsnaes, a Danish bred, twice imported stunning red dun stallion. Njord's name is well known in the European Fjord community and his legacy is carried on by his plentiful and sought after offspring there. Blezan is standing 13.0h at 12 months of age and should mature to about 14.2h. He is very leggy and well balanced with uphill movement. He has a very good canter which can be hard to find in the breed. Lovely length of neck too. Like all our youngsters, Blezan is being raised in a herd setting on our large wooded and hilly pastures which makes for strong, sure-footed level headed horses with great social manners.
