Mel is a super sweet easy going gal. She has been at the farm since November 2025. Mel did retire with a few chip fractures that were successfully removed at Mid-Atlantic on 10/18/2025. Mel is now finished rehab and ready to begin a new career. She has NOT been restarted since rehab. Mel stands on cross-ties for grooming, clipping and farrier. She is UTD on Coggins and Vaccines. Mel is currently in the transition stage of being barefoot. She is doing very well! Mel has no other injuries and no vices. Mel is not "mare-ish" and get along with everyone. She is currently turned out in a small group of mares. Hopefully someone snatches this pretty girl up before I restart her!
