Misty is a coming 3-year-old Gypsy Vanner / Paint cross filly with an excellent temperament and a solid foundation. She was listed as 2 years old on her Coggins in March 2025. This is a young horse that has been handled thoughtfully and shows a willing, uncomplicated nature.
She is easy to catch in the pasture, stands quietly in cross ties, leads well, lunges, and grooms easily. Misty holds her feet politely for the farrier and trailers quietly and confidently. She has been taken through obstacle courses and exposed to tarps, poles, tires, dogs, ATVs, trucks, and crossing water. She approaches new situations with curiosity and minimal hesitation.
Misty is green broke and progressing steadily. She is quiet under handling, not pushy, and shows a kind, cooperative attitude. She is playful once comfortable but remains respectful and easy to manage.
She is currently barefoot (previous shoes were pulled after arriving from Texas), is sound, and is up to date on deworming and farrier care.
Misty would be well suited for someone looking for a young horse with a calm disposition to continue in a correct training program. With her temperament and foundation, she has the potential to become a solid all-around or trail partner as she matures.
