Lady Mae is great in the arena and just recently did 30 days of refreash training. Mae rides english and western. WTC and have big beautiful gaites. She picks you up at the mounting block with the snap of the finger, stands tied, stands cross tied. Mae can be turned out 24/7 or is great in a stall. She has been turned out with mares and geldings and falls about middle of the herd. She is easy to catch and halter. Loads right up in the trailer and is great for the farrier and vet. Mae loves liberty work and connecting with her owner. She lays down on cue, lunges off voice and is very soft on the lunge line. In the arena Mae is solid, not spooky or reactive. She goes over tarps, drags objects, open and closes gates, pushes balls. You name it and mae will do it. She is a more woah than go type of girl but does have big beautiful gates. While in training every level of rider rode mae. Shes a great baby sitter type in the arena but would not recommend for a complete beginner as she is still young and has some green moments. Mae did extensively trail ride while in training. Along with road riding and even rode into town. She does great in a group setting but does need more work going solo. Mae is utd on everything, great for de wormer, utd on vaccines, coggins, dental and has had a full look over. Barefoot, sound, no health issues and never been lame. Prior mae did have experience pulling a cart, however the current owner has not pulled with her so she would need a refreash. Feel free to check out Barefoot Farms on fb to see pictures and videos.
