Mushu has quickly become a barn favorite, especially with my teenage students, thanks to his exceptional brain and kind personality. Restarted in late September after two years of letdown, he has been an absolute joy to handle, ride, and be around. He is quiet, willing, safe, not spooky, and the same horse even after time off. Started over fences with a cute, natural jump and an easy lead change, brave, smart, and laid back with zero drama. He truly does not mind what job he is given and seems to have athletic potential. He has been ridden by students and used lightly in lessons, taking everything in stride. Barefoot, good for the farrier, good living inside or outside and prefers friends in turnout with him. Still green, but one of those rare Thoroughbreds that makes restarting feel effortless. Ideal for an intermediate junior or amateur, lesson program, or someone wanting a lovely horse to bring along. I would love to keep this horse in my program but great home is a must regardless.
