Well trained, easy to handle mare, with 128 days of training, including annual refreshers. Trained to side pass, pivot, side pass to the mounting block, park out, stands untied for saddling, and maneuvers a variety of obstacles including teeter totters, streamers, platforms, and tarps. Her trainer dismounts by sliding off her butt, and the trainer stands on her back cracking a bullwhip. She’s very curious and usually masters obstacles on the first try. Ruby has been trail ridden in multiple locations, very easy to train, and ground driven which could be a short step to finishing her as a carriage horse. She’s not a slow poke and moves out easily without spurs. Used to barking dogs, tractors, UTVs, leaf blowers, and vehicles. Loads easily, great for the farrier, bathes well. With a refresher after weaning her foal, she could be a great horse for any discipline, trail riding or showing. She has been ridden by beginners and children, and with a refresher and a some miles with a knowledgable rider, she could be suitable for almost any rider. Her trainer said she’s the favorite horse she’s ever trained and called her “good minded”. It’s really important that she go to a home where she’ll be used and her talents won’t be wasted. She bonds well with people and really thrives on human contact. She’s a more alpha mare with horse but doesn’t want to boss the herd, just likes her independence and sets boundaries. Having said that, she gets along with every horse in the herd, including foals, mares, young horses, and geldings. She’s more on the independent side and does not get upset left in a stall without other horses but rides well with them, ties next to them, and was used to pony colts by the trainer. Have dozens of photos and videos available showing her beauty and talents. She’s in foal to a GVHS registered gorgeous blue roan stallion who is 14.1 with a live foal guarantee that extends to a new owner. Photos available. Pregnancy was reconfirmed in January for a July birth.
