Dallas is an 12 year old OTTB gelding. He has not been worked regularly so he is very green. He is a very respectful horse and he is very kind and gentle. He is not super spooky he is just on the anxious side. I think Dallas could do well in dressage or he could just be a trail horse. We have put a western saddle on him and he did fine. I normally do eventing things with my other horse, so I haven’t tried really introducing him to anything else. He has done some light jumping and is very capable of doing more. He absolutely loves to run, so he is definitely more go than whoa. Out of the 2 years we have owned him he has not had any bad injuries, the only trouble we have really had with him is putting weight on him. He’s not super food motivated. He does fine for the vet and farrier. He is up to date on his vaccines and dental. Currently he does have front shoes on. He needs a little encouragement to get in the trailer, then he’s normally fine. Overall, I think Dallas has lots of potential and if someone has the time or money to put into him he could be a great horse. My daughters have become too busy to put the time into him that he needs.
