Meet Sarge! Sarge is a 12-13yr old Friesian cross gelding who stands about 15.3-16 hands. This guy is a black beauty and stays jet black year round. I've mainly used him for trail riding. I also took him to a skijoring event last winter, and he pulled sleds and skiers with no problems. He will W/T/C and is super smooth. When I bought him, I was told he would also drive, but I can't personally vouch for that because I don't have a harness large enough to fit this big boy! Sarge is super sweet, loves attention, and has perfect ground manners. For example, a 7 yr old leads him around and can pick up his feet. This guy needs a job and to use his mind as he's super smart and wants to please you so badly. I wouldn't recommend him for a beginner- only because if he hasn't been ridden for a bit he will act like he's scared of things when you first get on, like vehicles. (In all honesty, he doesnt care about them but its something to get his energy out). Nothing dangerous whatsoever (no buck or rear or bolting). But if you aren't comfortable being a confident leader he will take advantage. I believe Sarge could also excel in an English home as he's super athletic for his size.

If Sarge trots on pavement he will sometimes gimp a bit on his front right foot. It's entirely manageable with a supplement which I'll discuss with any serious potential buyers. This does not limit him in any way when he's in the fields or on dirt. He will w/t/c and gallop through them and have no issues.

To be honest, I'm sad even writing this ad. I don't particularly want to sell this sweet boy, but I need to get a more suitable gaming type horse for my kids. Please, serious inquiries only.
