Athena is an unraced Thoroughbred that is broke to ride english and western. She has clean legs and is very light on her feet. This mare is very sweet and loves attention. She is best suited for an active, experienced rider who wants to ride and compete consistently. She has lots of talent, athleticism, and energy. This mare is incredibly smart and talented and able to pick up new things very well.

She’s currently learning leg yielding, side passing, picking the lope up from a walk, and neck reining. She is also learning how to collect. Her jog is getting more consistent and she is in the process of learning the difference between a jog and a posting trot speed.

My trainer is riding her once a week. Unfortunately, I can’t afford to put her into the full-time training that she needs. She needs to go to somebody that can afford a full-time trainer or has the education to finish her off and handle her energy.

Athena is barefoot, requires no maintenance, and has no known previous medical issues. She it UTD on vaccines, farrier, and has her teeth due in July.
