Fox Hunt New Years Day at Shakerag Hounds 01/01/2026. Nine of my horses went, Bambi was excellent in the third flight with a junior rider for her time riding at fox hunt. Bambi was perfect again at her second hunt. Both times with children riders.
Hunter Pony/Pony Club/Games/Eventing Prospect. Hauled to a jumping facility and was a total rockstar. Brave to jumps, no spook, bolt, or buck. Excellent on trails – confident and uncomplicated. Started on mounted games – Flag, Bottle, Bank, Hoopla, Ball & Cone, Vaults, and Mugs – and took to it naturally. Picks up both leads easily, balanced both sides. Started flying changes. Excellent jumping out in the fields, would be perfect for cross country. Not marish – sweet, willing, and easy to work with. Ridden bridleless — even over fences. She’s incredibly steady, safe, and forgiving – truly “can take a joke.” An easy project for a junior or small adult looking to bring along a future champion. Vet check on file and available.
