Janosch is a registered flashy 2024 stud colt with 4 whites and a wide blaze, as well as plenty of chrome throughout. He has a gray eye and a brown eye. Easy to lead and stands great for shots and deworming. He likes to be brushed and was raised around a lot of people. We offer tours of our barn and he was extensively handled as a foal, not just by us but also by novices. He currently stands 16.2HH at 22 months old and is expected to finish around 17.2HH. 

Easy keeper, stays plenty fat just off quality hay.

He is currently intact but scheduled to be castrated in April unless buyer wants to keep him intact. His bloodlines are quite impressive but we’re not looking to add a stallion to our program at this point. Free of canker and scratches and has a lot of silky feathering. Janosch’s tail is NOT docked. 

As you can see in the pictures his dam is a darker bay, his sire is light bay and stocky built.  He is a very mellow guy, lots more whoa than go. I started working him in the round pen and he is on the slow side of things, which I personally prefer. He is still a little fidgety with having his feet trimmed but he stands still after a few minutes of remembering what he’s supposed to do. Price reflects that. He gets trimmed without stocks and has never shown signs of aggression. He is a love bug looking for his own person. We are cutting our herd size down due to illness, hence he is for sale. PPE’s at buyers expense are encouraged.
