Jitske is a striking 7-year-old Friesian gelding standing 16.3 hands, imported from the Netherlands where he was trained in dressage and driving, and then transitioned to western riding for an adult amateur rider and family. He has a long mane and tail, presence, and beautiful movement—paired with a steady, confident mind and real-world experience.
Jitske has extensive exposure and desensitization and has proven himself in varied environments:
Mountain trail rides (off-property)
Water crossings
Mounted shooting clinic exposure
Cow sorting exposure
Comfortable around kids, dogs, wildlife, heavy equipment
