Nico has it all – size, looks, brains, movement and scope. He truly deserves to have his chance at the big ring. You will never have to worry about being noticed riding this striking black horse with 4 whites and a star and then his movement will wow them even more! He floats across the ground and can naturally adjust his stride from tiny to a huge ground covering gallop AND he loves to jump! He regularly jumps on his own when I turn him out in the arena to play. This horse is smart. He enjoys learning new concepts and picks them up very quickly. He is solid walk trot canter under saddle and has all the lateral movements in walk. He is very personable and wants lots of interaction. He has never been shod (good solid feet) but stands well for trims. He is good to tie, cross tie, tack, bathe, clip, mount, blanket, load and haul.
I rode my best horse to Intermediate and I think Nico has all the talent needed to go there. When I see him accelerate across the field I think he really should gallop around a Cross Country course someday and I am not the one to get him there. He is still green (as he should be at 4) but all the pieces are there – he just needs the right rider to bring him along. Serious riders only.
