Daisy Mae 🌼 This is a hard one to post, but Daisy is looking for her next best friend! She is a very sweet, seasoned youth horse that has truly seen just about everything. Daisy is in her mid-20s and has been used as a lesson horse over the past year, taking great care of her riders. She is currently getting back into work after about a month off and is legging back up nicely. Daisy has not been run on the barrel or pole pattern since October, when she was last shown in high school and junior high rodeo. She is a finished 4D barrel and pole horse and knows her job well. She also runs goats. I’ve ridden her in crazy warm-ups, through huge water crossings, and hauled her just about everywhere. She tracks the roping dummy and has been roped off of (she is not being sold as a rope horse, as she can get hot in the box), but she truly loves and excels in cow and ranch events. She has done ranch riding and rail classes, loves penning and sorting, and has ponyed younger horses. Daisy has toted kids around, carried flags, and has been used for grand entry. She has been ridden English but is more of a Western-type pony. She absolutely loves the trails and has been ridden in the mountains of Colorado with a past owner. She is a steady, enjoyable trail partner. She stands 14hh, is grade, barefoot, requires no maintenance, and is up to date on everything. She loads easily, stands tied, is easy to catch, and gets along well with mares, geldings, and all kinds of livestock. Daisy would make an excellent first horse for a confident youth or beginner who is new to rodeo and wants a seasoned, safe partner. She is very athletic, wants to please, and always tries her hardest. She is well-loved, and we will be picky about her next home. Mid–low x,xxx. Call or Text: 608-481-0611 for more info!
