Gunner is a 4-year-old Thoroughbred gelding who combines natural expression with a great personality. Currently schooling over small jumps, he is developing balance, rhythm, and soft contact, with lateral work and transitions within the gait. He has been very thoughtfully restarted and is currently progressing really well. He a very comfortable young horse to ride. He has a rhythmic canter, and is beginning to build the strength and topline needed for continued development on the flat. He is more “whoa” than “go,” a pleasant and uncomplicated ride. With his trainable mindset and correct foundation, he is well-suited for the hunter or dressage ring, and has even been out on the trails with no problem, making him a great option for someone to bring along in the cross country discipline. He stands around 16.3 hands with an uphill build, still growing, but very easy to handle and a really fun horse to be around. Very safe around children. Most notably, Gunner offers a high level of rideability for his age, he would be well suited for a junior or adult amateur working with a trainer to bring along a quality young horse. Low five figures. More pictures and videos upon request. Negotiable to the right home.
