Have you ever dreamed of owning a Lipizzan? Are you like I was and thought these magnificent horses were reserved for people with more status than what I possessed as an amateur horseman? Well sit right down by my campfire and lets chat. That was me a little over 10 years ago. I came across some lipizzans in need and answered the call. I not only became familiar with the breed, they changed the trajectory of my life! I became an advocate and started building a herd of them on the east coast. I now primarily breed them, which allows others just like me to obtain their very own! I take immense pride in the boutique breeding program I have created. Each pairing is selected based on what I am aiming to achieve with that offspring and what I think will be marketable, all within the breed standards. This colt is truly one of my favorites we have ever bred. He is exemplary in breeding, temperament, confo and my gosh is he easy to watch move! Costa has his imported sires wonderful temper, but is a clone of his beautiful huge dam in looks! I expect he will mature near 16 hands. The beauty of Lipizzans is you get the fancy floaty movements of the warmbloods minus needing a step ladder to get on them and a chiro adjustment when you dismount! Costa is fresh off of 4 months of training and is green broke to ride. Costa is willing, and so much FUN to ride! You truly feel like you are riding a war horse in the movies with his elevated canter! I assume this comes from his sire who was a driving horse and boasts croatian lines. Im pretty particular about the horses I consider stallion material, and this one definitely is worthy to keep his jewels, at least for now. He doesn’t know he is a colt yet, and is very kind. I have been on the fence forever about selling him, because I absolutely adore him! At the end of the day, my job is to help people achieve their dreams of finding their perfect dance or trail partner. All our horses will trail ride as well as work in the arena. If you are looking for a horse that will become your best friend for many years, consider this Lipizzan- he will not disappoint! He is already registered with USLF, pending his dna back from UC Davis. Costa is also branded on his left thigh. We have younger models available too, and more foals due to hit the ground soon! Some foals i’m flexible on payment terms and even entertain trades for things that don’t eat, lol. This colt i’m solid on price. Once you see him and throw a leg across him, you will see why too! He is an exemplary representative of the breed and I am so proud to offer him!
