This is Ellie. She is a 14 year old grade quarter horse bay mare that stands 15hh. She is offered for sale through no fault of her own. She is UTD on vaccinations and deworming. She received her Prestige 5-way vaccine plus West Nile Virus and Panacur dewormer on February 7th. She had her hooves trimmed on January 12th and is scheduled for her next trimming on April 6th. She stands great for farrier. She had her annual wellness exam done on November 10th and her teeth floated on December 19th. PPE welcome at buyer’s expense. She can be ridden bareback or saddled. Experienced horse owners recommended. Not for kids or beginners at this time. With further training, she has the potential to be a wonderful arena/play day/4H/trail and kids horse. She is currently best suited for arena work. She neck reins and plow reins. She takes easy pressure and light cues for transitions while riding. She is easy to catch and will be the first to walk right to you with halter and lead rope in hand. She gets along well with my other mares and does not get bossy or mare-ish around other horses. I bought her for my kids to ride in July, however, she is too much horse for their abilities right now and I don’t have enough time to dedicate to her with my current commitments. She will go in/out of my front load 4-horse/stock trailer comfortably and confidently independently. She does well with a blocker tie.
