6 year old, grade quarter horse, sorrel, mare. We bought Izzy to be a WAHSET horse. She is very sweet and will follow you around. Easy to catch, has never made us chase her. Had a negative Coggins July 2025. We had a PPE done on her in July and she didn’t have any significant health problems. Will walk, trot, lope, yield hind quarters and shoulder. Stands, ties, and is easily led. Is coming along nicely with side passing. Lunges well. Sends, backs, and stops well. She will need an experienced rider. Selling due to her needing more training than we are able to give her. She seems to do fine with an experienced rider. This is our first horse after only riding borrowed or lesson horses , and we have learned that we need a more trained, experienced horse at this time. We have had some challenges loading her, due to our lack of experience and her occasional nervousness with a trailer. Everyone else that has loaded her (such as several trainers, and friends that have lots of lifetime long experience with horses, have loaded her easily. She is a little spooky and at times herd bound. Will get hot if nervous, frustrated, and at times leaving her buddy. Good news is that she does calm down with ground work and giving her brain work like practicing side passes, shoulder and hind end yields, lunging etc. She doesn’t stay hot. When she calms she is great and always feels like she is willing to learn and practice. She really wants to please, so we think with the right handler, with more experience than us she will be great. We just don’t have the experience to give her that. We have been practicing gaming with her. So she is familiar with the barrel pattern, poles, figure 8, keyhole etc. She has attended WAHSET practices all year with my daughter
