Trigger is a wonderful 15-year-old pony currently used in our lesson program at Johnny 6 Stables in Costa Mesa, CA (OC Fairgrounds). He has become our go-to “3-year-old pony,” helping introduce very young riders to horses in a safe and positive way.

Trigger is patient, kind, and extremely comfortable around small children, and he is regularly used for leadline lessons with riders as young as 3 years old. He is dependable, forgiving, and a great confidence builder for beginners.

In addition to being an excellent leadline pony, Trigger can also walk, trot, and canter, allowing riders to grow with him as their skills develop. He comfortably fits riders from young children to petite adults, making him a versatile pony for a variety of riders.

Trigger has a quiet temperament and is traffic safe, as he previously came from an Amish background and is accustomed to vehicles and busy environments.
