She is a mare who can found or enhance a breeding program to produce purebred Akhal-Tekes, Trakehner or other sporthorse crosses with excellent sportive qualities, good type, and nice movement! She has already produced 4 purebred foals and is currently in foal to elite Akhal-Teke stallion Chirchiq A (from dressage and jumping proven parents: 2005 Reserve Champion Daimir and 2006 European Champion / 2009 Virtual European Champion Chilga)--due end of July 2026. Okgunly has solid groundwork and is well-ridden under saddle with experience on forest trails.
Okgunly’s sire was top class, champion-producer, and 2009 European Virtual Champion stallion Myrat, bred by Aleksandr Klimuk at Stavropol Stud and sire to 2014 European Champion 2YR mare Fuksiya. Okgunly’s dam was Ozariya, mother to 2013 European Champion yearling mare Gul-Oylyk and daughter of Turkmen stallion Kuvvatli (half brother to esteemed stallion Gaigisiz) and Stavropol successful racing mare Kichitorgai (2009 Virtual European Reserve Champion). Through her dam, Okgunly comes from the highly valued and historic racehorse producing dam family Ovgan. Okgunly is also granddaughter of the influential stallion Murgab and great granddaughter to Adat (son of the famous Yulduz).
