Lucky is an 18 year old grade paint pony. He stands 13.2 hands tall and has a stocky build. He is very kind and gentle to be around and is marked absolutely beautiful! Lucky loads, hauls, clips, bathes, ties, stands well for the farrier, etc. He is a smooth ride, is soft mouthed, catches his leads easily, rides nicely collected, and moves well off your legs. Our 6 year old son is a confident beginner and with guidance/instruction he has been riding Lucky. He would make an awesome lesson pony. Lucky rides great for adults as well and has more of the feel of a horse than a pony. He's not what we would consider a dead head and freely moves when asked, therefore a true beginner probably wouldn't be the best fit for him. We have ridden him steadily this winter, he's current on all vet and farrier care, and he's ready to roll for riding season ahead!
