He’s the type of horse that enjoys having a job and is always eager to get out and do something. Pegaso has been exposed to several disciplines and has the potential to go in multiple directions depending on his next rider’s goals. Last year he was started over fences and was consistently jumping cross rails up to 2’. He is currently getting back into that work and picking it right back up quickly. He has also been started on the barrel pattern and shows natural athleticism that could easily continue in that direction. Under saddle Pegaso side passes, backs easily, and has a very nice stop. He moves off willingly and is responsive to his rider. Like many young horses, he does best when he has a job and enjoys staying busy. Pegaso has also been trail ridden extensively and is confident outside of the arena. He handles obstacles, bridges, and creek crossings without hesitation and has been ridden on the road around traffic as well. He had the winter off and has been very easy to bring back into work, picking right back up where he left off. Pegaso would make a great partner for an intermediate rider looking for a fun, athletic horse to continue developing, or for someone wanting a versatile all-around horse they can take in their own direction. He stands well for grooming, tacking, the farrier, and the vet, and he loads easily in the trailer. He is up to date on routine care. Pegaso is currently in a training program and his price will increase with continued training. Reach out for videos!
