Jasmine was diagnosed with kissing spine in May of 2024. She is no longer comfortable under saddle. She has enjoyed the last two years being a horse in my herd on our small farm. I am looking to see if somebody needs a pasture buddy. She is barefoot, easy to keep weight on, no maintenance required. She’s never been lame…. She still has a lot of spunk to her personality, would not do well in a stall longterm, definitely prefers being out in a paddock or pasture. She will find her place in the middle of your herd. Not an aggressive mare. My guys all eat together. She’s on a foraged based diet with only a ration balancer. In the event that her new owner cannot keep her longterm, I would ask that she gets returned to me. I would require a contract that I can get bi annual updates on her condition and that she cannot be sold or rehomed. I will always take her back, no questions asked.
