Clochette is a beautiful 20 year-old mare who has been very loved and well taken care of since I purchased her in 2019, at the age of 13. She is currently semi-retired, but used to excel in both Western and English riding. She is a sweetheart, loves attention, and really do well with kids. The reason why I would like to rehome her is because I am looking to move to a large city where boarding a horse isn't an option. I would only see her sporadically, and I do not want that for us. That being said, I am not in a rush to let her go, I just want to find the right place and the right person for her, and I will be very picky (home and vet checks, references, maybe background check since she is for adoption). Ideally, I would want her to go as a companion horse, or a family with younger kids who want to learn how to walk/trot. She also loves trail rides as long as she is not alone :) Clochette had a suspensory ligament injury in the past, she recovered and she is sound, but I would not risk her to get injured again, that is why a lesson program is NOT an option for her. Not a broodmare either, she passed the reasonable age. She also has seasonal allergies, that we are currently managing with Dexamethasone treatment from mid-Spring until Fall (depends how bad are the bugs). I would actually love her to go to a cooler place. Please reach out with any questions, serious inquiries only.
