Very beautiful conformation, she looks like a Quarter horse shrunk down to small pony size! Has a thick broad chest & hip with babydoll head and is built and rides just like a big horse! If you want your little to be able to do it all on a pony their size, this is the pony. Pickles has an easy w/t/c, picks up correct leads, does not have a bouncy pony trot, can sit the trot easily. She has very correct conformation and she is athletic yet kind, gentle, and easy. She is not spooky or suspicious, she is calm and easy-going with no naughty pony behaviors. She acts just like a big horse and is very loving. She would be the perfect pony for leadline through short stirrup or more, trails, AND she drives the very best, children can drive her in a cart. (If you want to drive her we do have the equipment so feel free!) Pickles is stout with a strong back (I suspect she has some Haflinger in her) so even though she is small, she is a sturdy little tank. Her back is made for bareback riding, and this pony makes you wish you were 7 years old again. On the ground, her manners are perfect - she loves to stand all day and get groomed and loved on and is very patient and kind. She is not on any maintenance and is sound and healthy with no vices whatsoever and no blemishes. Gets along well with others and easy to have around the barn, great in stall and turnout, easy to catch, greets you with a ridiculously adorable nicker! Perfect pony for any program, family, show home, trails, driving, or even foxhunting.
