Marion is a coming four year-old fancy buckskin with a phenomenal foundation. If you are looking for a super well bred German riding pony who has been prepped to be a trusting companion since birth. Always well handled and well traveled, she has been exposed to many things! She spent three full months, having a great foundation and start with Michael Alway this past fall and was given the winter off to continue growing, now two months back in work we are traveling weekly to Dressage Lessons offsite where she unloads quietly and immediately eats grass. She has super correct movement and three lovely good gates. Her canter is exceptionally balanced. I see her really excelling in Dressage, Working Equitation or the Hunter ring. I do the former two so she has not had any jump, jumping experience under saddle except for the odd log, we have hopped over on the trail, which is entirely happy to do. This is a pony that is not prune at all to spook, I cannot actually think of a time that she has. She is not lazy or a dead head, though, she moves nicely forward and is the perfect amount of sensitive, responding very easily to wait or seat aids. She has been exposed to most of the Working Equitation obstacles and been a natural at all of them from the start. Shown on the line last year at Upperville and winning a first place at the Warrenton Pony show. Lateral work seems to be very easy for her. Other highlights include her natural ability to lift her shoulder in canter especially when the rider sits up. She is a joy to ride and just gets better with each ride training that you put into her sticks and she remembers. She is great in the barn and can be the last horse turned out without any worry. At the horse shows, she has handled everything with her signature intelligence, taking it all in stride and be behaving very well. Ready to start doing some schooling shows soon! She has absolutely correct blemish free legs and has had no injury or illness. Never colic. Great for the Farrier. Loads every time on first ask and ships well. She went on many field trips as a young horse and has been prepared with much more time than the average. She has Pony on trail rides and is very good for that as well as now being ridden on them with another horse or alone.
