2015 OTTB Bay Mare- “Foxy Twist” (Q)
Q is an intelligent, highly trainable mare looking for her next partner. She had a brief racing career followed by several years fox hunting and has since been restarted for sport. She has made nice progress and shows excellent potential for continued development.
Q is a forward-thinking ride with a soft mouth, going in an oval link snaffle. Once she understands her job, she responds to very light aids. She has natural athleticism and flexibility, and is at a great stage for someone looking to continue developing a horse correctly and bringing along their strength and way of going. When brought along properly, she would be well suited for a dressage or eventing home. (She has beautiful movement and will learn those dressage tests quickly!)
She is an incredibly sweet, “in-your-pocket” mare with a willing, kind personality. No mare-ish behavior or drama. She is sensitive to her rider and does best with a confident, calm partner. Q is best suited for someone capable of continuing her correct development and helping her reach her full potential.
She is consistent in her behavior even with time off, though she benefits from regular work to maintain fitness. She has been a careful, genuine partner for an adult amateur, and a great home is a priority.

✔ Can be turned out alone, but prefers a companion and currently lives with both mares and a gelding
