Sweet mare in her 20s? Shes 34-35" at withers. Not sure about her history. We bought her at a sale and when we bought her, she had a saddle on but quite frankly I think it was to hide her confirmation. We have not done anything further with her (driving/riding wise) as we just got her to be a companion. She will stand tied for grooming/bathing, lead, load, haul. When she's comfortable with you, she is extremely sweet and loves to nuzzle you. She loves snacks - mainly apples. Doesn't mind being around tractors, ATVs. We have only had her around horses/mini horses and she has been low on the totem pole. She doesn't have the best conformation and I believe that whatever life she lived prior to coming to us, she was used way too hard way, too long/early. We may never know her bistory. She is bowed in at the knee/toed out at the rear. Possibly too upright on the fronts. Her rear issues are making her rear end slant below her wither. She's definitely not straight but doesn't seem to have any issues. She walks, trots and even lopes when she's feeling frisky. She's been on a dry lot and gets fed feed 2x daily and is on a grass hay. She has kept at a good weight as well. Ive never had her on grass pasture. She does go out daily, weather permitting and comes in every evening. She keeps well in a stall. She was recently dewormed and bathed. She needs to be a companion pony only. She would love a home that can let her live the rest of her days being spoiled.
