Meet Devo (her name means Devotion). A 2020 dual-registered Mangalarga Marchador (ABCCMM / USSMA)- This is Brazil's working ranch horse. There are only about 500 in the USA. This beautiful and feminine 14.3h bay mare is steadily developing into a confident, versatile partner ready to take someone on an incredible journey. Under saddle, Devo is progressing nicely at the walk, batida gait and cantering- in the arena and out on the trails. Introduced to WE obstacles like the bridge, jumps, ground poles and opening and closing of the gate. She is already proving herself to be a brave and capable partner in real-world situations. From overnight camping trips in the Beartooth Mountains to navigating steep inclines, narrow rocky trails, snow covered trails, hillside climbs and water crossings, she handles it with a willing attitude. We even took her in her first parade- Sirens, screaming kids, candy being thrown all around her and she was a rock star and walked confidently the whole time. She is comfortable leading, following, riding out alone, or in a group, and continues to gain confidence with each ride. She will even get you home safe from the bar after that long trail ride! One of Devo’s standout features is her smooth Batida gait, making her incredibly comfortable and enjoyable for long rides. Devo is: • Sound, healthy, and sure-footed • Shoed during rocky summer months, with strong, sturdy feet • Easy to load, haul (short or long distances), and handle • Not spooky, but still gaining experience and exposure Devo will continue gaining mileage in both arena work and trail riding until she finds her perfect match. Check out our recent fun rides! She does well with different riders too! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NJzeEm1lls Located in Bozeman, Montana
